Over 30 years ago, the Baptist Homes Board was established in response to a need that existed among seniors for suitable accommodation and care. Three years later, in 1975, the Gracewood Village commenced with the opening of the William Kennedy Court units at Roebuck Drive in Salter Point. The story continued to unfold with the opening of the Gracewood Hostel a couple of years later and the commissioning of the Leslie A. Watson Nursing Home in 1982.
Since it’s inception, Baptistcare has continued to serve the needs of the Western Australian community, in metro and regional areas, with a range of aged care, disability, mental health counselling and community services.
Baptistcare provides services as an extension of the Baptist Christian mission to people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Driven by a firm commitment to excellence – both in our facilities and our service provision – Baptistcare offers the highest level of respect and integrity to all clients.
